Online learning offers students the accessibility of time and place in education. It creates a paperless learning environment which is affordable and beneficial to the environment. Every student has a different learning journey and a learning style. Some students are visual learners, some prefer to learn through audio, and other students are solo learners who get distracted by large groups. In spite of all these features students also face challenges of online learning, they struggle with focusing on the screen for long period. They get easily distracted by social media or other sites. There can be a lack of continuity in learning for the child due to technology issues.
“I hear and I forget,
I see and I remember,
I do and I understand”.
How true the Chinese philosopher - Confucius words are pertaining to offline classes
Off line classes give way for face to face interaction and reduce the sense for isolation. Offline learning helps to develop more understanding methods as compared to online study. It provides students with a practical learning environment within the walls of a physical classroom and a healthy competitive environment to the students. It also helps the teachers to pay equal attention to every student in the class. Teachers can also easily judge the performance of every student in the classroom. It paves the way to mould the students in the right sense.
Education is the only thing that helps the students in getting a good career, makes them a responsible citizen of society, and develops morality in them. As a teacher, one must bring out the best in students and inspire them to strive for greatness.
Let us remember, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
