The well-known American humorist, novelist and writer once quoted “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do “. What is this disappointment all about? It is not finding your passion and pursuing it into making a living. Sounds amazing!!! Does that mean you forgot to identify your passion and regret later? Don’t worry it is not hard enough to find your passion. Your perceptions may vary at different stages in your life. So, you must make some efforts to find your passion, work towards it and lead a passionate life. When you know exactly what you want to do with your life pursuing your passion as your career – success in life is assured. How to discover your passion? Passion is doing something you like and desire the most. Once you discover it research your passion, the level of demand it has and accordingly works hard to enhance your skills. Next, you can choose the relevant field. But remember before all this could happen, make a ‘Plan ‘to execute it. Get yourself qualified in the respective area of your choice and you can see yourself working towards your goal. Your passion is what helps you find direction in life and work. Take time to work through this process and know that, no matter what you’ll be getting closer to where you want to be. Working on something you love longer and harder will bring desired results. This makes you productive and happy. Thus, achieving your goal will be just a cakewalk. Just imagine if that passion of yours is transformed into your career in future, then won’t you feel at the top of the world? Expand your horizon and look into people-men and women who are inspired by their work just because it has been their passion chosen with the right perspective. If you wish to contribute your passion to society then change it into your career and serve the nation. Expand your comfort zone rather than leaving it. To end, I again quote Mark Twain – “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why “. Remember all those achievers in life have excelled in their field because they were driven by their passion to excel.
